What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty

This is an older book by the author who wrote Big Little Lies and I thought it was a thought-provoking (no pun intended) story.

Alice is a wife and mother living in Sydney. One day she falls off her spin cycle in her spin class and really hits her head. When she wakes up, she finds she has lost 10 years of memories. She thinks she a newly married, newly pregnant new homeowner only to discover that she has 3 kids she doesn't remember, a home that has been completely renovated, and is in the middle of a bitter divorce and custody battle with her husband. She also seems to have alienated a lot of her friends, neighbors, and relatives with her personality. And so she begins a journey to figure out how things--and she--changed so much over 10 years. Not sure I totally like the ending but it was a good story. And you really do empathize with old Alice, who can't figure out how things turned out the way they did from where they started.
