The Guardians by John Grisham

Quincy Miller has been in prison for over 20 years for a crime he didn't commit--the murder of lawyer Keith Russo in Seabrook, Florida. Cullen Post, a minister/lawyer works for Guardian Ministries, which attempts to free wrongly convicted prisoners like Quincy. His right-hand man is Frankie, a former prisoner who was freed by the Guardians.

Though Post doesn't necessarily care about finding who the real killer was, just the thought that Quincy Miller might be exonerated is making someone very nervous. And that puts Quincy and Cullen in danger.

During the book, Cullen talks about some of the other cases the Guardians are working on at the same time. And there are several law enforcement agencies involved in the investigations. So there are a lot of moving parts to keep track of. But it was a good story. And you do feel for Quincy Miller, who lost over 20 years of his life because someone decided he was the perfect fall guy for Russo's murder.
