Paris in Love by Eloisa James

I'll admit that I was unfamiliar with Eloisa James when I stumbled upon Paris in Love. But I discovered that she is a professor who teaches Shakespeare and that she writes romance novels. This charming book is about the year she and her family spent living in Paris. The whole book is a series of vignettes about delectable things she finds to eat, fashionable Parisian women, her kids' adventures at school, quirky little museums she finds and the like. In these trying times when one can only dream of traveling, this book provides a delightful escape.
