Troubles in Paradise by Elin Hilderbrand

As a note at the beginning of the book points out, this is the third book in a trilogy, so if you haven't read the first two, don't start with this one. Troubles picks up where the second book  left off. Irene Steele and her sons were planning on moving to St. John (in the Virgin Islands) and living in the villa owned by her now deceased husband (who she found out had a whole other life going on in the Virgin Islands that she knew nothing about). But the FBI has seized the villa as part of a criminal investigation. (Yes, the dead husband REALLY had a whole other life going on.) So Irene moves in with Huck, the captain of the charter boat she works on (who has fallen in love with her). Her son Cash moves in with his wealthy girlfriend and her family (though he soon realizes this is not a workable long-term plan). And Buck and his young son Floyd rent a small apartment (thanks to the largesse of his ex-wife), which soon becomes home to both Irene and Cash. Needless to say, this family is in a lot of turmoil. There's an unexpected pregnancy, a betrayal, a hurricane. Something for everyone.

I had read the other 2 books so I wanted to see what happened, but I have to say I prefer Hilderbrand's Nantucket books.
