Vineyard Victims by Ellen Crosby

 I finally found the last book in the excellent Virginia vineyards mystery series. (It's not the actual last book but the last book I had to read to finish the series, which I read totally out of order.)

In this one, our heroine (and vineyard owner) Lucie is almost run off the road. The car that was speeding then crashes into the same wall that Lucie's ex had crashed into years earlier, leaving her with a permanent limp. The driver, Jamie, resisted Lucie's attempts to get him out of the car before it exploded. His last words to Lucie were about seeking forgiveness from someone named Rick. It turns out that what she's stumbled onto is a decades-old murder for which the wrong man may have been imprisoned. And trying to find the truth may cost Lucie her life. It was quite the page-turner.
