The First Gentleman by Bill Clinton and Jas Patterson

 This was a good murder mystery with a unique perspective from someone who has actually lived in the White House. The premise is that the country (finally) has a female president and it seems like someone might be attacking her through her husband, a former football star. Rumors start circulating that, years earlier, he had murdered the cheerleader he was secretly dating. Two reporters are trying to track down what really happened for the book they are writing, but they keep getting threats to stop investigating. They soon feel that their lives may be in danger if they keep investigating. Then a body turns up ...

I figured out what really happened long before the ending but it was still a good story.
