Bloodline by Felix Francis

Felix Francis has taken over writing the series of horse-related mysteries made so popular by his father Dick Francis. Bloodline is the latest. I liked the mystery part of the story: Race commentator Mark Shillingford has a fight over dinner with his twin sister (jockey) Clare about whether or not she's been intentionally losing races. She storms off in a huff and he refuses to take her phone calls. Soon he's informed by the police that his sister has taken a header off a London hotel balcony. They think it was suicide but Mark isn't so sure. He begins to investigate on his own and soon someone else turns up dead and someone tries to kill Mark. As I said, I liked the mystery part of the story but there was too much horse racing info. After a while, I began skimming through the horse parts to see how the mystery part was progressing.
