This is the latest in the long-running Women's Murder Club series. Linsdsay and Rich (cops in San Francisco, if you're unfamiliar with the series) are working on a series of crimes committed by men dressed like cops. But are they real cops or wannabes? And if they're real, is it someone L & R know and trust?
At the same time, Lindsay's husband Joe, former Federal agent and now a consultant, starts working on solving a series of stabbings that Lindsay thinks might be related, which almost gets him killed.
And lawyer Yuki, who has quit her job with the DA's office, is now suing the police on behalf of the family of a teen who died in jail, after being imprisoned possibly in error.
As always, some of the storylines are resolved but there is one big cliffhanger to make you want to read the next installment ....
If you're looking for a good beach book, 14th Deadly Sin would be a fine choice.
