I love the Elin Hilderbrand books set on Nantucket. They're perfect summer reads. And they make me want to go visit Nantucket and find a house near the beach.
In Here's to Us, renowned chef and restaurateur Deacon Thorpe dies suddenly leaving behind 3 ex-wives and several children as well as a house on Nantucket. His lawyer and friend Buck has the unhappy task of telling all three wives that they own the house together--and if someone doesn't pay the overdue mortgage and back taxes, the house will be gone forever. The family gathers for one last hurrah and celebration of Deacon's life. Naturally, the parties do not get along and the offspring have a lot of problems of their own to deal with. But they all love being on Nantucket and somehow everything works out in the end. If you're just in the mood for a good summer story, this is the book for you.
