Man Overboard by JA Jance

After a rough start in life, Roger has finally gotten his act together. He's a successful cyber security expert. A grateful cruise line client has given him a free cruise to thank him for solving its cyber security issues. The first night of the cruise, Roger vanishes off his stateroom balcony. Was it a suicide? An accident? Homicide?

Roger's aunt tracks down his longtime friend Stu, who works with Ali Reynolds at the High Noon Enterprise cyber security firm to see if he can figure out what happened to her beloved nephew. Once the investigation starts, Stu finds that Roger might not have been the only one to die under such uncertain circumstances--and one very twisted person might be behind these troubling deaths.

While I am a big fan of the PJ Beaumont and Joanna Brady series by JA Jance, I haven't read any of the other Ali Reynolds books, so I had no familiarity with the main characters. But it was a page-turner of a story--and one that really makes you think about the impact of the cyber world on everyday  life.
