A Very Stable Genius by Philip Rucker and Carol Leonnig

If you're not a Trump supporter, this extensively researched tome will reinforce your beliefs. If you are a diehard Trump supporter, you should probably read it anyway, just to see where the other side is coming from.

The book starts with Trump accepting the Republican nomination and saying he alone can fix what's wrong with America. It ends just before the impeachment trial, with plenty of hirings, firings, judicial appointments, blowups, recriminations, political machinations, people trying to maintain their integrity while serving the president, and people sacrificing their integrity while trying to serve the president. In short, it's a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the last few years in these United States.
