Not the Ones Dead by Dana Stabenow

 This is the latest in the Kate Shugak series, set in Alaska. In the newest chapter, there seems to be a lot of new faces in the area. And they don't seem like the friendliest people. Bobby (who is Black) is run off the road. Kate (who is native Alaskan) is ignored in a conversation.  Regular tourists are told they can't hike the trails they have hiked for years because the land is now privately owned. Then things get even more tense when a small-plane crash between 2 experienced pilots leaves several people dead. What is going on in the Park? Kate, Jim, and park ranger Dan decide to start investigating and are shocked at what they find.
