Till Death Do Us Part by Laurie Flynn

This book started with a bang. The husband (Josh) of a newly married couple goes off to pick up breakfast for them and vanishes off the face of the earth. The wife (June) gets a text that he decided to go swimming and his body is later found in the water. But she doesn't believe it was an accident.

Then the story keeps bouncing between Josh's mother's early years of marriage and motherhood and her later years after her marriage hits the skids. June in the meantime has finally found love again--then she thinks she sees her dead husband in her neighborhood. She heads off to California (where they lived as newlyweds) to investigate. All the bouncing between times was a little hard to follow. And some of the mysteries in the book were sort of left unresolved.

I liked the first half of the book more than the second half.
