An intriguing psychological thriller

The Wrong Mother by Sophie Hannah: Sally, a harried--and married--working mother in London decides to take a much-needed vacation on her own when a scheduled business trip gets cancelled. During this time, she gets involved with a man named Mark.
Upon her return home, she hears on the news that Mark's wife and daughter have been killed. But the man shown on TV as Mark is not the man she just spent a week with.
Quite the page-turner.

  1. Received this book suggestion from Chris:

The historical novel, "Eye of the Raven" by Eliot Pattison, was quite good from the native American standpoint.

He writes of the conflict between the English and French in the 1700's, the land grab, and the problems with their Indian allies, particularly the Iroquois. Underlying it all is a discussion of their spiritual beliefs as well as a Scottish connection. The plot is complex but worth pursuing.
