Movie review: Waiting for Superman

Waiting for Superman is an indictment of the public school system (and the teachers union) in the United States, told through the stories of a handful of children from around the country. The statistics are disheartening but it's the stories of young Francisco, Anthony and the rest that break your heart. They have big dreams and their parents are trying against all odds to help them achieve those dreams. At the end, you hold your breath with them as you wait to see whether they win the lottery that will get them into special charter schools/private schools--with their futures truly in the hands of fate.

I'm dying to hear what my friends/relatives who are members of the teachers union think of this movie.
