Bones is the first book by this author and it's a great beginning.
Pregnant Colorado cop Gemma is called to the scene of a murder--a small visiting circus.
The victim--a clown--turns out to be someone tied to the area and thought to be already dead.
Even more puzzling, this death keeps running into the disappearance of two local boys 30 years earlier.
This is quite the page turner. Gemma isn't sure who she can trust. And someone is clearly try to scare
her and her fellows cops off the case. It was hard to put this book down. I hope there's a sequel because I liked this main character a lot and would like to see what happens to her next.
