No Middle Name by Lee Child

I've read all of the "Jack Reacher" books and liked most of them. This was an interesting addition to the series, filling in blanks in Reacher's life--from growing up moving from base to base with his Marine father to strange Christmas Eves that he had experienced over the years. If you're a fan of the books, you will like these short stories about Reacher, Jack, with no middle name.
