Talking as Fast as I Can by Lauren Graham

Actress Lauren Graham (of Gilmore Girls and Parenthood fame) has written a charming biography of her life up to this point. Born in Hawaii, she spent her childhood in Japan and on a boat in the Caribbean, among other places. She worked a number of odd jobs, as many actors do, while struggling to get good acting roles. Then she landed the part that was tailor-made for her: Lorelei Gilmore. Graham writes in a funny, breezy style that makes this an enjoyable, quick read. And we agree with her that the Gilmore Girls revival did end with kind of a cliffhanger so we too hope that there will be more of that story to tell.
